Remnant 2 Devs 'Intimidated' by Game's Reception; Improvements Announced
The developers of Remnant 2 seem surprised by such a positive reception of their latest game. However, they thanked the community for its support, promising imminent fixes.
We inform you often enough about the developers' apologies due to the failed release of some game - LotR: Gollum and Redfall are the crowning examples in recent months - to breathe a sigh of relief when being able to share with you a different message. It was issued by studio Gunfire Games, which seems somewhat surprised, but also grateful to players in connection with the extremely positive reception of Remnant II, a game released three days ago .
Recall that the game collected very favorable reviews from industry critics. On Steam is also at least good - out of more than 8 thousand user reviews, the positive ratings account for 81%. What's more, the game is wildly popular - on the day of release, at one time it was played by up to 82,742 people, and as I write these words, it is being played by 88,502 users.
The developers thanked the community for its support and enthusiasm, which the team described as inspiring. In addition, the devs acknowledged that they are aware that some players are encountering problems. The team promised to address them as soon as possible.
Considering the speed at which the blocking of progress in Labyrinth and Nightweaver's Web or the bug related to the Waterharp puzzle were fixed, one can hope that one won't have to wait long for further fixes. As a first step, the developers intend to:
- improve the overall performance of the game;
- solve problems with crashes and more powerful hardware configurations (PC);
- improve the trait system;
- eliminate other progress blockers and add missing items.
Remnant II is available on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
