Redfall Trailer Attempts to Woo Us With Atmospheric Locations
Arkane Studios, creators of Dishonored and Prey, showed off a new blood-dripping trailer of Redfall. Will the atmospheric video convince undecided gamers to reach for the title?
Open world, co-op, and hordes of bloodthirsty vampires asking for immediate extermination. That's Redfall, one of the more anticipated games to hit the market in 2023. As there is relatively little time left until the release (the game will launch on May 2), the developers have presented a new gameplay trailer.
The material, which was shared as part of the IGN Fan Fest 2023 event, gives us a better look at the game's setting - the title island of Redfall. Recall that this fictional location is overrun by an army of vampires and only a few human daredevils undertake to reclaim the territory from the hands of the bloodsuckers.
Despite the fact that Arkane Studios' game is mainly oriented towards cooperative play (up to four players), Redfall will also be playable solo. Unfortunately, some time ago it turned out that even for solo play you will need a permanent connection to the Internet, which caused a lot of dissatisfaction among the players.
Finally, let's add that Redfall is heading for PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be available on Game Pass at the same time - on both PC and consoles.
