Red Dead Redemption 2, last October's sandbox western from Rockstar Games is now PlayStation 4's best-rated game. The developers have boasted their record in a post on Twitter.

Red Dead Redemption II - the sandbox western game from Rockstar Games studio, which is also a continuation of the popular 2010 production - is currently the best-rated game on PlayStation 4. The production has won 175 Game of the Year awards and 275 full-score reviews. The developers boasted the information on Twitter, in a note summarizing the achievements and reception of their work.
This award is a significant achievement for the team, as there are plenty of highly rated games on PlayStation 4. Red Dead Redemption II had to compete with such strong competitors as God of War, The Last of Us: Remastered, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End or Persona 5. Arthur Morgan's adventures also take first place on the list of the best-rated games on PS4 on Metacritic, where RDR2 with an average score of 97%. Interestingly, the second place - with an identical score - is taken by... another production of Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto V.
We would like to remind you that Red Dead Redemption II is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from October 26. It is worth noting that the game recently received a large patch, introducing a lot of novelties and improvements to its multiplayer mode - Red Dead Online.
