Psychonauts 2 funded; less than a week until the end of the crowdfunding campaign
Psychonauts 2 has been successfully crowdfunded, having reached over $3.3 million on Fig. Fans still have a few days for completing the campaign’s extra objectives.
Psychonauts 2 developers managed to secure $3.3 million via Fig crowdfunding campaign, which means that the main goal has been successfully reached. This isn’t obviously all the money Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions are going to need for the development of the next installment in the original action-adventure game series. The rest is coming from the developers’ own pockets and from their mysterious business partner.
With five days yet remening until the end of the campaign, fans still have a chance to complete the recently adjusted Fig missions, such as reaching a specific number of backers, Twitter followers, Facebook likes, YouTube subscribers, and views of Dev Play Season 2 on YT. There are also Special Missions, which may be real fun for the biggest Psychonauts fans.
Psychonauts 2 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One some time in Fall 2018. In the meantime PlayStation 4 users will get to play Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, a bridge story between the first Psychonauts and its upcoming sequel.
