PS Plus for October Leaked; Including Recent High-profile Horror Game
Next month, PS Plus Essential subscribers will most likely be able to pick up three games again. According to a reliable leak, one of them is expected to be a horror game from the makers of Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol.
We've likely learned some of the games that will be coming to the PlayStation Plus Essential (as well as Extra and Premium) subscription in October. Subscribers are expected to get access to the horror game The Callisto Protocol and Farming Simulator 22. These two titles will be available for pick up from October 3 to November 7.
The source of these revelations is a well-known informant billbil-kun, whose reports have repeatedly proven themselves accurate. He claims that, in October, in addition to The Callisto Protocol and FS 22 there will be another game coming to PS Plus Essential. We will have to wait, however, until Sony officially reveals the title, and in doing so confirms the above information. This is likely to happen tomorrow afternoon.
The Callisto Protocol is a fairly fresh survival horror game that came out last December.. The player takes on the role of Jacob Lee, who must fight for survival in a prison located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. Other inmates are transformed into terrifying, bloodthirsty beasts, from which you have to escape or fight using various skills and weapons.
The creators of Dead Space is responsible for the game, but despite this the title was lukewarmly received. On PS5 The Callisto Protocol has an average rating of 69% from nearly 100 critics' reviews collected on Metacritic. In addition, the PC game has faced major performance issues at launch.
The second gameto hit the PS Plus Essential soon, namely Farming Simulator 22, is a much more peaceful and more idyllic title. The player's task is to run a farm, which means cultivating the land and raising animals. OnMetacritic FS 22 has 75% positive reviews (for the PS5 version).
Recall that until October 2, PS Plus Essential subscribers can still pick up three games, namely Saints Row, Generation Zero and Black Desert Online.
