Poland and Vikings coming to Civilization VI in these two new DLC packs

One of this year’s best strategy games, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, has got two new DLC scenario packs featuring Poland and Vikings – both available on Steam for $4.99. Here’s a new trailer that discusses these, focusing on the features of the Polish civilization.

Polish civilization is led by King Jadwiga, Poland’s first female monarch, who greatly contributed toward the expansion of that country in the 14th century. Under her command, the nation’s biggest advantages are their expansionism and religious strength – thanks to the Golden Liberty ability, upon buiding a fort or encampment Poland gains all adjacent territories, regardless of their status. What’s more, this faction’s elite unit is the famous Winged Hussar – one of the most feared cavalries in history – which provides a powerful military advantage in midgame.

In addition to Poland, Civilization VI players can also try out the new Vikings scenario. This one is advertised as “the most detailed scenario released yet”, however, it’s noteworthy that Steam user reviews are currently very negative.
