Pokemon Snap, the Nintendo 64 Classic, Gets a Remake on the Switch
Pokemon Snap, the great Nintendo classic, gets a remake on Nintendo Switch. The game from 20 years ago is back and looks lovely.
After 20 years, 4 consoles, and over 700 new Pokemon, a beloved Nintendo 64 classic, Pokemon Snap, is getting its remake, this time on the Nintendo Switch.

On June 17th, Nintendo revealed a trailer for their upcoming remake of the original Nintendo 64 game, simply titled New Pokemon Snap. The trailer is only about a minute long, but showcases all kinds of Pokemon, even the most recently introduced Pokemon from Sword and Shield.
Many fans may recognize a few returning features in the trailer, such as the unique yellow cart that the photographer protagonist (Todd Snap) rides in, as well as the apples he would use to try to coax Pokemon out of hiding or into great photo opportunities. Nintendo has yet to announce a release date for the New Pokemon Snap, saying only that it is “under construction.”
