Path of Exile Breaks Popularity Records Thanks to PoE: Siege of Atlas DLC
The debut of the Siege of Atlas expansion for Path of Exile turned out to be very successful. The expansion enabled the game to set a new activity record on Steam.
Yesterday, marked the release if Path of Exile: Siege of Atlas, the newest expansion for the hit action RPG from Grinding Gear Games. Traditionally, it was made available for free in the form of an update. A day after the launch it can already be said that the expansion is another success for the authors.

Interest in the expansion is so great that it enabled the game to set a new activity record. Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, Path of Exile was played by 158,882 people at the same time on Steam.
It is worth reminding that the previous expansion, Path of Exile: Scourge, failed to achieve this feat. At the hottest moment on the day of the release PoE was played by 150 thousand players at the same time, which was 7 thousand less than the all-time activity record of the game at that time.
Positive reception of Siege of Atlas add-on
First impressions from Siege of Atlas are very good. This is well illustrated by the user ratings on Steam. Yesterday, the day of expansion's release, Path of Exile received 175 positive reviews from players, and only 10 negative.
New version of the useful Path Of Building fan app
Shortly after the release of the expansion, an updated version of the open-source tool Path Of Building was released. This is an application that helps optimize our characters. We can simulate different paths of progression and show the most beneficial gems and ideal gear for our character.
The new version is marked as 2.14.0 and mainly introduces changes reflecting the novelties offered by PoE: Siege of Atlas.
When will PoE: Siege of Atlas debut on consoles?
Finally, it is worth mentioning that for now the expansion is only available on PC. However, console owners will not have to wait long, because their versions of Siege of Atlas will be released on February 10.
