Issues with arrow keys being used for keyrebinds
To roll out this fix, we have to update both the client and the server, meaning players will need to be kicked from the game when it is rolled out. An exact time will be communicated before it happens, but it will likely be late tonight Mountain Time.
Update – Developers Statement
On the official Discord channel developers published a statement regarding this issue:
We're also looking into the "running out of GPU memory" issue some of you are running into. Appreciate your patience, we'll post here when we have some updates.
Running Out of GPU Memory Error in Nightingale Explained
Nightingale seems to have the same error as many games using Unreal Engine in the recent times – Running Out of GPU Memory. The similar situation was for example in the case of The Finals. The message itself suggests that the problems is connected to the player’s computer, but at the same time the problem is common for people with modern PCs. It may suggest that we have another instance of Unreal Engine and DirectX incompatibility.
While there is no official or confirmed unofficial method to fix this issue, we may suggest a method which worked in the past for similar problems:
- Try adding -d3d11 command to the launch options on Steam. It should force the game to launch with DirectX 11. There is a chance that it will help you.
We have to wait for the official developers’ statement to learn more about the problem. We have to be patient for now.
