Locating Elder Eoten Heart in Nightingale

Even though Nightingale just recently entered an Early Access program surrounded by other, big survival titles like Palworld or Enshrouded, it gathered its group of fans. Those players travel the realms to find a way back home, to titular Nightingale. One of the tasks given throughout the journey is to find an Elden Eoten Heart, but doing so can be challenging.

Let’s start with explaining what an Eoten is in the first place. Eotens are a tree like monsters that you can encounter in the Forest Hunt realm. To find them you should stick to the paths on your map, especially the places where the paths end. There you will most probably find Eotens, however the Elden ones are a bit harder to find. The most important thing to know is to understand that the Elden version of Eoten is an old tree, with huge trunk and twisted branches. As soon as you approach this opponent, a boss bar will appear at the top of the screen.

You can find Elden Eoten in the wild by chance, but to make it easier, you can use Track Legend enchantment on your tool to guide you towards it. This method makes it much faster but requires a lot of crafting along the way.

Getting Elden Eoten Heart in Nightingale

Getting the heart of Eotens’ elders is part of the main questline so you will stumble across it one way or another. There are two ways of obtaining it – peaceful and… less-peaceful.

The brutal approach will require you to defeat the tree, which can be rather challenging, so if you take this way, make sure to come prepared with fire infused weapons. Another way to get the heart is by providing Elden Eoten with a proper offering – Ritual Fabled Meat. To start this quest, you must talk to Ludivine in Antiquarian Swamp, and she will send you to complete 3 tasks. After finishing the mission, you will need to find an offering altar of the Elden Eoten in its vicinity. Placing the offering on it, will grant you its heart.
