One Piece Revealed Two New Devil Fruits. One Belongs to Character Fans Have Forgotten Has Powers
One Piece unveiled the appearance of two more Devil Fruits. Some fans have completely forgotten the existence of one of them.
Eiichiro Oda continues to care for One Piece fans, frequently providing them with new information about the series. This time he revealed the appearance of two Devil Fruits that were eaten by characters present in the Dressrosa arc. Perhaps these aren't the most powerful fruits, but their appearance is quite intriguing and raises questions about how someone could eat them.
Sugar's Fruit: Hobi Hobi no Mi (Hobby-Hobby Fruit)
- Fruit Type: Paramecia
- Fruit Type: Paramecia
The fruit eaten by Sugar, who belongs to the Donquixote crew, resembles a yo-yo toy with a green stem decorated with swirl and wave patterns. The appearance of the fruit already suggests what its dangerous powers might be. Sugar can turn anyone she touches with her hand into a toy of her choice. With such a toy, she can sign a contract obligating the toy to carry out every command. What's even more terrifying about the power of this Devil Fruit is the fact that a person turned into a toy is erased from the memories of other people.
The weakness of this fruit is that the effects of its power are reversed the moment the user, Sugar, loses consciousness.
The Fruit also stops the physical process of aging. Sugar ate it as a very young girl and her body hasn't aged since that moment.
Leo's Fruit: Nui nui no mi (stitch-stitch)
Leo's fruit looks like a patchwork of multicolored fragments in a wave pattern, pierced by a large needle, which also immediately indicates the powers wielded by the person who eats it. Thanks to it, Leo can sew together everything, both animate and inanimate objects. He was able to sew even people together, as we saw in the Dressrosa arc, when he did it to Robin. It seems that his threads are exceptionally strong, considering that neither Robin nor other people have been able to free themselves from them. Leo also used his ability to sew ships together, demonstrating that his needle is capable of piercing through any material, even the hardest.
Fans are surprised that Leo ate the Devil Fruit
After revealing the appearance of Leo's Devil Fruit, some fans expressed surprise that the character's powers come from it, rather than being a normal ability he possessed.
I forgot Leo ate a fruit I thought he could just do that stuff normally - beeatingyu.
I… did not even know Leo ate a devil fruit – Gwartabig.
I always thought that Leo's power is just a pure skill and not from DF - N3k0Sh1r0.
Of course, One Piece had already explained that Leo ate the Devil Fruit, but it seems that many fans had already forgotten about it, so Oda's reminder was helpful for them.
