Omni-Man Flexes in Trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 DLC
Over the coming months, Mortal Kombat 1 will get a number of new fighters. The first of these is Omni-Man, the antihero known from the Invincible comic book series.
Less than a month has passed since the release of Mortal Kombat 1. However, devs at NetherRealm Studios are far from having said their last word and are preparing more content, including DLCS, to its work. Among the latter leading the way will be new characters.
First one will be Omni-Man, the villain known from the comic series Invincible, whom fans will be able to play as in November. The antihero will hit the game in the company of Tremor, a new Kameo character. You can find out how they will fare on the battlefield by watching the trailer dedicated to them (although it is Omni-Man who plays first fiddle in it).
Omni-Man is one of the many characters that will make their way into Mortal Kombat 1 in the future. The developers' plans include such fighters as Quan Chi and Peacemaker (winter), Ermac and Homelander (spring), and Takeda Takahashi (summer). In addition, new Kameo characters will be added to the game, namely Tremor (November), Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon and Mavado.
The Kombat Pack 1 pass will offer access to each of them with a week's notice. In addition, a skin for Johnny Cage, which turns him into virtual Jean-Claude Van Damme, awaits its owners. Kombat Pack 1 is priced at $39.99
Mortal Kombat 1 made its debut on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on September 19. On Metacritic the average rating given to it by industry media is in the 82-85/100 range (depending on the platform); on Steam, meanwhile, the described title enjoys "mostly positive" reviews.
