Obi-Wan Will Appear in Star Wars: Andor
Reports have surfaced online that Obi-Wan Kenobi will play an important role in Star Wars: Andor.
Star Wars fans eagerly await the premiere of the series about Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, it turns out that the show will not be the only one in which we will see this Jedi. As reported by The Illuminerdi, the character will also appear in Star Wars: Andor, a prequel to Rogue 1.
The Jedi knight will be played by Ewan McGregor, of course. Interestingly, Obi-Wan's role will be more than a guest appearance in one episode. According to these reports, the character will appear in several episodes and will be very important to the show's plot.
Of course, until the official confirmation of Ewan McGregor's participation in Star Wars: Andor, these reports should be approached with caution.
The production of Obi-Wan Kenobi is to start this month. As for now, not much is known about this project except that Hayden Christensen will appear as Darth Vader. The day before yesterday we also learned that Indira Varma, the actress known, among others, from Game of Thrones, has joined the cast.
The filming of Star Wars: Andor is to end in July this year and the premiere is scheduled for next year. What's interesting, a lot points out that it will not end with one season.
Apart from these two productions, Star Wars fans can also expect The Book of Boba Fett series and the third season of The Mandalorian. Further plans include Star Wars: Acolyte, Rangers of the New Republic and projects focusing on the characters of Lando and Ahsoka.
