No Rest for the Wicked is now available in Early Access. The title received a mixed response, primarily because of poor optimization, as well as other issues such as the inability to change controls and occasional poor readability of the environment. Fortunately, Moon Studios hasn't been idle and managed to release two patches just three days after the premiere.

No Rest for the Devs as we're back with another hotfix! Today's hotfix aims to improve Performance (woooo!), Durability, Food costs, as well as introducing fishing rods to Whittacker's loot table.

Among the most important changes implemented in both updates, we can mention, among others:

  1. improved overall rendering performance;
  2. increasing tool durability;
  3. adding tool production at craft tables;
  4. reducing repair costs;
  5. improvement of creatures appearing in certain areas;
  6. increased drop rate on repair powders;
  7. reduction of durability usage;
  8. limitation of damage from a fall;
  9. reduced drop rate of Fallen Embers
  10. improvement equipment navigation.

A couple of bugs were also eliminated as standard. Of course, these aren't all the introduced fixes - you will familiarize yourself with the full lists of changes here and here.

Similar to the game, the updates received a mixed response from players. Many people point out that the changes introduced in the balance by the devs have made the gameplay too easy, which they don't particularly like.

No Rest for The Wicked was released in early access on April 18 only on PC. The title will also appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in the future.
