Steampunk Survival Game Nightingale Delayed

The survival game Nightingale will debut in early access later than expected. Inflexion Games wants to refine the title, as well as transfer it to Unreal Engine 5.

I bring bad news for all survival fans who are waiting for Nightingale. The game by British studio Inflexion Games - bought out some time ago by Tencent - was supposed to debut in early access on PC in December 2022 at the latest. As it turned out, however, we will wait a little longer for it.

Today the developer informed about a delay. The title will be released in Early Access only in the first half of 2023 (unfortunately, no precise date was given). This may or may not mean that the actual release of Nightingale will be pushed back to 2024.

There are two reasons for the delay. The first is - as if by tradition - the need to refine the gameplay and expand the title with new content. The second, however, is the desire to move the game to a new engine, namely Unreal Engine 5. Inflexion Games rightly decided that it was better to do this before the release than after.

As a reminder, let me add that one of the NPCs in Nightingale will be Marie Curie - Polish-French chemist and physicist, who was a two-time winner of the Nobel Prize. It is possible to recruit her - as well as other historical figures who will appear in the game - to our party and take her on a journey through an open, quasi-steampunk world.
