Next-gen The Witcher 3 Reveal Today
Today we will see how The Witcher 3 looks on current-gen consoles. CD Projekt Red will organize a special stream.
Premiere of the new edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles will take place quite soon, on December 14. If you are curious to see what Geralt will look like refreshed by the update, you can watch today's live broadcast. It will be held on CD Projekt's official channel on Twitch at 9 am PT.
Unfortunately, the developers have not stated, how long the show will last or how much gameplay we will see on it.
This update will offer, among other things, real-time ray tracing, shorter loading times or an integrated wide selection of community-created mods. In addition, The Witcher 3 will get free DLCs inspired by the series from Netflix (including new swords and armor).
New release of Wild Hunt will be available for free to anyone who has purchased the game on PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. In addition, the Complete Edition of the title dedicated for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is to be released. It will contain all of the above improvements, free DLCs, as well as the major expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. However, owners of the game on last-gen consoles (and Nintendo Switch) need not fear - all the new content will be available for them as well at a later date.
