Amazon's Highly-anticipated MMORPG New World Launches
MMORPG New World has debuted on the market. The launch was not without problems - players report long queues.
The release day of New World, the long-awaited MMORPG by Amazon Games, has finally come. European servers launched at 8 AM local time On Steam the game will officially debut in a few hours, but those who pre-ordered it can already play the full version.
New World is available exclusively on PC and only on Steam. The game doesn't have any subscription. It is enough to buy it once and we can play without any limits.
As it happens in the case of MMORPG game launches, the debut of New World turned out to be a bit bumpy. Many people report long queues to the servers, sometimes counting as much as several thousand players. Others manage to get into the game, but then are thrown out of it due to errors or broken connection.
Such things are unfortunately typical for MMORPG launches. Only in a day or two will it be known whether these are just standard teething problems, or Amazon Games has not properly prepared the game and network infrastructure for the release.
Expectations for New World are huge. The game enjoyed great popularity during testing. In addition, pre-orders sold like hot cakes. Players are clearly hungry for new high-budget MMORPGs and Amazon Games' production may be what they've been waiting for.
