New Release Date for Total War: Three Kingdoms
We've learned the new release date of Total War: Three Kingdoms. The game is to launch in May, this year as the title needs some more polishing.
We got to know the new release date of Total War: Three Kingdoms. The title will be released on May 23, 2019 – the information was shared by the devs from Creative Assembly studio in a press release published on Facebook. This not the first release delay in the game’s development cycle. Initially, it was to be released at the end of 2018. Then the strategy game was to be released on March 7. However, even that release date had to be postponed. The creators do not hide the fact that they prefer to release a refined title, even at the expense of a later release:
We’re lucky to be in a position to do the right thing for our games, and in this case it means taking the time to get everything ready for you. It’s more important to give you a game that you can enjoy to the fullest, rather than stick to a release date just because.
We know not everyone’s going to be happy about this, but ultimately, we believe this the best thing for the game and our players.
A few days ago, a new trailer for the game surfaced on the web, presenting Dong Zhuo. The Chinese commander will lead one of the twelve available factions. In order to be able to control his faction, you will need to defeat his army or become the Emperor. Total War: Three Kingdoms will be available only to PC users.
