New Batman Game Inbound! Warner Bros. Confirms Gotham Knights
Warner Bros. confirmed that in the second half of this month, fans will take a first look on another Batman from WB Games Montreal, titled Gotham Knights.
Rumors of Gotham Knights, developed by WB Games Montreal, which is known mainly for Batman: Arkham Origins, first appeared in June. It happened after Warner Bros. registered domains with the title of the new project. Today, the publisher confirmedthe existence of the game, announcing that it will be shown for the first time on August 22, during a special online edition of the DC FanDome event. Individual panels of the event will be available on its official website.
According to previous reports, Gotham Knights is to focus on the broadly understood "Batfamily" and be a kind of reboot of Batman: Arkham. Rumors suggest that the game will be based in part on Scott Snyder's highly acclaimed Batman: Court of Owls series, in which the Dark Knight and his allies face a mysterious organization controlling all of Gotham from the shadows. Apart from Batman, we should also follow the adventures of such characters as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Oracle and Catwoman.
