Batman: Arkham Knight Confusion; Rumors Say New Content Was Quietly Added and Removed
A costume modeled after the one Robert Pattinson wore in his movie was suddenly added to Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. After a few hours, however, the skin was removed.
Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have made quite a stir among Batman: Arkham fans.
- A few days ago the version of Batman: Arkham Knight available on Epic Games Store quietly received a new costume for the main character, modeled after the costume worn by Robert Pattinson in last year's The Batman.
- Fans were very happy about this, but the matter seemed strange from the beginning. After all, the skin was released without any announcement, and on top of that it was only available in the version sold in Epic Games Store.
- The matter became even more complicated when a few hours later the outfit was removed from the game.
- All indications are that someone at Rocksteady simply released it too early. Fans speculate that this skin will be available in Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Switch, which was originally scheduled for release on October 13, but was recently delayed until December 1. So it's possible that the new costume was supposed to hit the PC version of the game shortly after the release of the version for Nintendo's consoles, and Epic Games Store forgot to change the release date of the update after the bundle was delayed.
- However, other fans are hoping that they will only have to wait until Halloween for the skin. The action of Batman: Arkham Knight takes place during this holiday, after all, so releasing a new costume on this occasion would be a nice gift for the fans.
Recall that Batman: Arkham Knight was released in June 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It is worth mentioning that the costume from The Batman may not be the only new feature soon to be added to the Arkham Knight. This is because for some time there have also been rumors that there are plans to implement ray tracing.
Finally, let me mention that the Pc version of the game can now be obtained at an extremely bargain price - along with a dozen other items - as part of the new Humble Bundle.
