Long-time GTA Producer and Radio DJ Voice Left Rockstar
Jeffrey „Lazlow” Jones is no longer a member of Rockstar. He is mainly known for his work on GTA games. He produced them, wrote scripts for radio stations and played the role of their presenters.
In February this year, the world heard that Dan Houser, co-creator of the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption brands, is leaving Rockstar, with which he was associated for over 20 years. However, as it turns out, he wasn't the only person to leave the famous studio in the first half ot he year. In April, Jeffrey "Lazlow" Jones left the team. This information was included on his profile in LinkedIn and only now has been noticed by industry observers (via VG247).
Jeffrey "Lazlow" Jones has been with Rockstar since 2001. He has been involved in the GTA series, starting with third installment. He used his previous radio experience and helped write scripts for crazy stations such as Integrity 2.0 from GTA IV, Chatterbox FM from GTA III and Liberty City Stories or V-Rock from GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories and lent voice to their DJs. He also played an exaggerated version of himself in GTA V.
In addition, Jones has worked on such games as Bully, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2.
As we can read in Jones' profile on LinkedIn, he is currently involved in several different projects. He prepares programs for Disney and Netflix, works with well-known and acclaimed filmmakers and advises a video game company. Unfortunately, we don't know which company is involved.
