Helldivers 2's God of War captured on a video. Joel (or "J.O.E.L."), who has been leading players through the campaign in defense of Democracy since the premiere, appeared in the material captured by one of the Arrowhead studio employees. - although he probably soon regretted his curiosity.

You can watch the video below, although it doesn't reveal the identity of the mysterious Game Master of Helldivers 2 (via YouTube / X).

Joel's character has been causing a lot of emotions since Johan Pilestedt (then CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios) revealed who was in charge of leading the HD2 campaign. The players alternately cursed and thanked the dev, who was quickly dubbed the "god of war" - quite capricious, according to the heretics.

The video itself is another funny entry from the developer, who has been constantly teasing fans with Super Earth propaganda since the release of the second Helldivers. For example, denying the existence of a new threat, such as mysterious blue rays knocking down players, which also appear in the material. Teaser, or another joke? Only Joel knows that.

Not that players complain about such activities. On the contrary, these actions are a key reason why Arrowhead studio continues to be highly regarded by gamers, even after the Sony controversy (via Reddit).

Let us remind you that another major update is coming to Helldivers 2, the largest in history and even with its own subtitle: Escalation of Freedom. Moreover, a little later, players will receive another Warbond: Fredoom's Flame.
