Gaming community is full of survival fans, as many successes of such games in the recent years prove. If you are one of them, the new title in the genre, ASKA, will be released in a few hours. This game concentrates on building a village rather than constructing the small base, so be prepared for a little bigger scale than usually. Of course, living in a settlement is better with friends. That’s why many people are interested in multiplayer in ASKA. In our guide we will tell you all about it.

Dedicated Servers in ASKA

Developers have answered the question about dedicated servers on Steam. At launch we can expect only P2P model of multiplayer. Peer-to-Peer means that players will connect directly with each other. However, creators think about dedicated servers and how to implement them in a proper way. In ASKA environment it proves to be challenging because of large AI influence on the world (more about reasoning is in the linked Steam post).

PvP and Coop in ASKA

In their FAQ on Steam, developers announced that coop is their priority. They do not rule out PvP completely in the future, but right now they focus on making cooperation as fun as possible.

How Many Players Can Play Together in ASKA

In the aforementioned FAQ, creators have also answered question about number of players – ASKA supports up to 4 players. So, don’t expect large groups of people on one map. Of course, mods might be able to change that in the future.
