ASKA PC

ASKA is a survival game with strategy elements in which we lead a tribe of Vikings. The game was developed by the Sand Sailor Studio team, whose portfolio includes Bossgard and Black The Fall.

Mechanics

In ASKA we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game takes us to a universe straight from Nordic mythology, and during the game we play the role of a Viking whose task is to build a prosperous settlement from scratch.

We start the adventure modestly, dedicating ourselves to gathering resources for building and for obtaining food. Over time, our village begins to grow. New houses appear in the settlement, which we can furnish and decorate ourselves. We can also construct farms, mines, workshops, altars or fortifications.

As we progress, the number of inhabitants also increases and we can assign them various professions. It's possible to train them to be craftsmen, farmers or hunters. It should be remembered that each of them has their own daily schedule (the rhythm of life in the village is determined by changing weather conditions and seasons), as well as needs that we must take care of - food, drink, rest or companionship.

Over time, the settlement and its immediate surroundings are no longer enough for us. At that time, we have no choice but to venture deeper into the procedurally generated world, to try to find sources of valuable resources and create increasingly advanced outposts.

Our activity does not escape the attention of opponents, led by an ancient evil, which reminds us of its existence with the arrival of the first frosts. This means that we regularly have to reach for the sword and engage in dynamic battles with our opponents.

Game modes

ASKA allows to play alone or in cooperation mode over the Internet for up to four people.
