Morrowind Rebirth - what's new in version 6.0

Release 6.0, as usual, brings a ton of new features. This update is fairly big, including a large amount of work put into fixing and improving pathgrids. These affect how an NPC travel from one point to another. Adding more nodes and fixing nodes that are misplaced adds to more realistic NPC behaviour. Authors have also put a lot of effort into adding new Daedric urns and crates to all Daedric ruins, while also updating the look of old Daedric content like chests. What’s more more fitting tables and stools were also added to Ashlander camps, big and small. In numbers 118 crates, 127 urns, 122 stools and 60 tables have been placed by hand in 6.9.

Of course, no big Morrowind Rebirth update would be complete without new items.

New artifacts/Uniques:

  1. Cavortius' Helm

New Magic Weapons

  1. Moon's Embrace
  2. Wraithblade
  3. Venomlash
  4. Emberheart
  5. Frostweaver
  6. Echoing Dagger
  7. Shadowscar
  8. Nighthowl
  9. Whispersharp
  10. Stormshaper

Morrowind Rebirth is effectively an unofficial remaster that pulls up The Elder Scrolls III closer to modern standards without losing what made the game so special. Version 6.9 is yet another step on the road to making this project the perfect TES3 experience.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that you will need the game along with all the expansions to play the mod. In addition, it is required to have the project Morrowind Code Patch, unless you are using OpenMW.
