Morrowind Rebirth - what's new in version 6.0
Release 6.0, as usual, brings a ton of new features.
- AI of many NPCs has been improved, mainly in terms of limiting actions that resulted in these characters harming themselves (e.g. by stealing).
- Several city locations gained additional vegetation.
- Many previously inaccessible houses were opened and equipped with detailed interiors.
- Many resources and items are easier to find in the game world. This includes camping kits, which are now no longer limited in number throughout the game.
- New weapons, magic weapons and armor, artifacts and outfits have been implemented.
- Several new spells have also been added.
- Many textures and models have been replaced by new ones.
- Traditionally, there were also bug fixes, both those in the mod itself and those existing in the basic version of Morrowind, such as imperfections in dialogues or incorrect selection of objects in some interiors.
Morrowind Rebirth is designed to improve and expand the game in general. The project tweaks graphics, introduces a ton of new elements and improves gameplay balance and mechanics. In addition, the entire world map has been remade, gaining new objects and characters, making the land seem more realistic.
The result is excellent. Morrowind Rebirth is effectively an unofficial remaster that pulls up The Elder Scrolls III closer to modern standards without losing what made the game so special.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that you will need the game along with all the expansions to play the mod. In addition, it is required to have the project Morrowind Code Patch, unless you are using OpenMW.
