Modern Warfare 2 With Major Change in TPP Mode

Infinity Ward has listened to fan criticism and decided to introduce a major change to the TPP mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It will be implemented even before the game's release.

Bringing good news for shooter fans awaiting the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Following the completion of the game's open beta, studio Infinity Ward promised that the game's final version would receive a handful of anticipated fixes - including improvements to the third-person view. Now we have learned what exactly the developer intends to change for the better.

The biggest problem with the TPP view was that every time the player wanted to aim a gun, it switched to the traditional FPP view. Many people found this as inconvenient as it was annoying. As a result, they mainly shot from the hip.

The full version of the game won't force us to do so. Infinity Ward announced on the Instagram profile of Call of Duty that the view will change only when aiming from weapons equipped with a scope offering four times zoom (or higher). Aiming with all other "guns" will not require changing from TPP to FPP perspective.

This is the most important change, but not the only one. Leaning out to peek around a corner will be made easier by being able to change the hand in which the character holds the weapon. In addition, a special bar will appear in the menu, which will enable you to zoom out and zoom in on the character's back.

As a reminder, let me add that the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled for October 28, 2022. The title will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. Users who preorder the game will play more than a week earlier - on October 20.
