Mod Will Turn Fallout: New Vegas Into Star Wars RPG
A mod titled Star Wars Open Worlds is in the works, whose aim is to turn Fallout: New Vegas into an RPG set in the world of Star Wars. It will include 12 planets to explore, as well as fully voiced dialogues and a dedicated storyline.
- Star Wars Open Worlds mod for Fallout: New Vegas is under works.
- It will offer an adventure in the world of Star Wars - 12 explorable planets, dedicated main storyline, full of choices, fully voiced dialogues, numerous weapons, improved crafting system and much more.
- Unfortunately, so far no version of the mod is available to the public.
cRPG fans who are also fans of Star Wars are unlikely to complain about too many games of this genre set in George Lucas' universe. Since the release of both parts of Knights of the Old Republic series and the following MMORPG The Old Republic the situation in this department was rather poor. Players are therefore left with all kinds of unofficial projects. One of them, Star Wars Open Worlds for Fallout: New Vegas, has been developed for a long time. Below you can see one of its presentations.
The main creators of Star Wars Open Worlds are Tank_Girl444 and Karim Najib, who are occasionally assisted by Advent, Cpt Rex, Dragbody and Samtron. This is not a very impressive team, and the goals they have set themselves are quite ambitious. We will start the fun by creating our own character - we will be able to decide the race, appearance and skills. Once we do that, we can start the adventure. The title is supposed to offer an extensive, choice-rich dedicated storyline, which we will be able to finish by following the path of light or dark side of the Force, or decide to stay neutral. We will visit 12 planets open for exploration, full of unique, voiced characters (there will be an option to recruit some of them to our party), side tasks, various factions, opponents, etc.
Interested? Because there's more. According to promises, Star Wars Open Worlds will also have a refreshed interface, the ability to play as a bounty hunter, lots of weapons, an improved item crafting system and much more. Star Wars fans should be satisfied.
Unfortunately, Star Wars Open Worlds still does not have any playable version available to the public. Neither did the creators say when it would appear. But when it does, it will be available for download here.
