Netflix's Witcher May See Dijkstra Played by Actor From Wild Hunt
We know more names of actors who will join the cast of the second season of Netflix's The Witcher. Among them we will find, among others, a voice actor fromWild Hunt - his appearance suggests that he may play Dijkstra.
Redanian Intelligence, a website that collects the most interesting news about the works from the Witcher universe, provided a list of freshly hired actors, whom we will see in the second season of Netflix's show. It's worth to take a look at it, because it's quite possible that we know who will play one of the more recognizable characters - Sigismund Dijkstra.
The character will most probably be played by Alastair Parker, an artist whose voice you may remember from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. He played the role of a dwarf known as Cleaver, who is one of the leaders of a Novigrad gang, so he already knows the universe well. Although the creators did not confirm that he will play Dijkstra, but given the casting offer from some time ago (just for this character), as well as the external appearance of the actor himself, we can hardly expect anything else.
We've learned 4 other names that will join the Witcher's cast. Among them we will find Richard Cunningham - an actor who can boast of an episode in Star Wars as General Ramda in Rogue 1 Apart from him, in the second season we will see Michele Moran, playing smaller roles in such TV productions as Flack or Into the Badlands, Niamh McCormack (she will play the "character W" in an episode directed by Stephen Surijk) and Krysten Coombs (badminton player who has already played a midget in Game of Thrones - in The Witcher he will play one of the dwarves).
The production of the second season of The Witcher continues. We can expect the premiere in the second half of 2021, but nothing is certain.
