Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Returns to Testing; 1.17.30.20 Beta Fixes a Ton of Bugs

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has received another beta. Players can check out version 1.17.30.20 on PC, Xbox One and Android mobile devices.

Last week, Mojang took a short break from testing Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Now, the developers have returned with the beta version 1.17.30.20 on PC, Xbox One and Android.

The long wait for another test build has not translated into more changes or the addition of any new elements. The developers are still focused on polishing content, including that introduced in the first part of the Caves & Cliffs update. This includes fixes related to Light Blocks, such as fixing bugs with their textures not displaying and the inability to remove them when holding another block of that type. A handful of mobs have also been tweaked, including fixing an issue with some of them appearing in the wrong places.

Beta 1.17.30.20 is also a lot of technical fixes, including further improvements to game optimization. We'll have to wait for more serious mods, but it doesn't seem to worry the players too much. After all, for a long time you can test update 1.18, the second part of the Caves & Cliffs update. It brings with it one of the most awaited novelties: changes in the generation of the game world, and thus more real (although still pixelated) mountains and caves. These can already be enjoyed as part of the beta for the Java version of Minecraft, and you can see that they made a big impression on the players. For the full launch, we'll have to wait until the end of the year.
