Midnight Ghost Hunt – Console (Switch, Xbox, PS4, PS5) Release Explained
The question about a console release for Midnight Ghost Hunt came up on the official Discord, in the FAQ section. However, the response from the team does not seem optimistic.
WHAT PLATFORMS WILL THIS BE ON?
Midnight Ghost Hunt is available on PC, on both Steam and the Epic Games Store!
In other words, the developer has answered by listing only the current platforms, not addressing the possibility of Midnight Ghost Hunt being released on consoles. What could this mean?
This could be the team’s way of avoiding saying anything concrete because it is too early to make an announcement. It’s possible that the developers are waiting to get the reliable statistics of the playerbase after the launch to make a decision, or that they haven’t finalized the timeline yet. At least, the response doesn’t seem to be fully negative. If Vaulted Sky Games wasn’t considering porting Midnight Ghost Hunt, there would be no reason to beat around the bush when they could just say “no, we are not planning a console release.” For now, the best thing players can do is wait and see.
