Also Microsoft and Xbox Will Come to Gamescom 2022
Several major publishers will be absent from gamescom 2022, but this does not include Microsoft.

Several major publishers will be missing from gamescom 2022 - but not all. After Ubisoft their presence at this year's edition of the fair in the German city of Cologne have confirmed Microsoft, Bandai Namco and Team 17.
In the case of Xbox, we know that the Redmond giant will focus on "updates" on titles coming to Microsoft's consoles "in the next 12 months." This doesn't necessarily have to include only projects from Xbox-owned developers - the recent brand show also brought with it footage of games from independent developers.
The gamescom 2022 trade show will begin on August 23. The event will be open to the public, although this year in Cologne we will not see Sony, Nintendo and Activision Blizzard (formally not yet acquired by Microsoft).
