Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Can Run In up to 240 FPS on PC
EA shared information on the performance of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on various platforms. Graphics modes on consoles were revealed, as well as how many fps we can expect from them.
Only eight days separate us from the release of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, a set of remastered versions of BioWare's three space RPGs. Those waiting for the debut of the project should be interested in an article published on the official website, which describes the game's performance in terms of resolution and fps on different hardware platforms.
PC version of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition at 240 fps
In the case of the PC version we will get all our PC's got left. Those with powerful enough hardware will be able to enjoy the fun in 240 fps and refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.
The PC edition will of course offer numerous graphics options, enabling us to adjust the quality to the capabilities of our rig.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition performance options on consoles
The issue of console editions looks interesting. Players will be able to choose between two modes:
- Focus on quality - priority will be given to visual quality, at the expense of a reduced target fps.
- Focus on performance - priority will be given to getting the highest possible fps number at the expense of graphics.
These options are pretty standard, but Electronic Arts has also stated what we can expect from them on specific hardware platforms:
