Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Has Gone Gold
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has gone gold. This means that nothing stands in the way of the release and the game should be coming to us in mid-May.
The release of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is around the corner and you can feel the growing anticipation of gamers for the return of Commander Shepard. In connection with this they will certainly be pleased with the information that the game has gone gold.
The information was shared via Twitter by Mac Walters, project director supervising Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. He noted that working on the game has been quite an adventure, and now that it's nearing completion, it's time to celebrate.
Going gold in the video game industry means that the game has been completed and the discs with the final version have gone to the pressing plant. Thanks to this we know that the game's release date should not be delayed and we will receive the finished title on May 14, 2021 (although the case of Cyberpunk 2077 shows that even "going gold" is no longer a guarantee of meeting the release date). From now on, the team responsible for the game can work in peace on future updates and other improvements. We can't wait to explore the Milky Way again and immerse ourselves in the adventures of our favorite characters.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be released on May 14, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The collection will offer us the remastered trilogy of Commander Shepard's adventures and all the DLCs released for them - including promotional armor and weaponry (over 40 elements in total). In addition, all three games included in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will feature the female version of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 3 by default.
