Lost Eidolons Release Date on Consoles
Lost Eidolons, a hybrid of RPG and strategy game that hit PC last year, has received a console release date. The title will hit PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this summer.

Ocean Drive Studio along with PID Games have announced the release date for the console version of Lost Eidolons. The title will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on August 24.
Despite this, is there anything to look forward to? On Steam the discussed item can boast "mostly positive" reviews. Industry media also received it quite warmly, as evidenced by the average rating, which, on Metacritic is 75/100.
- Lost Eidolons is an elaborate RPG, enriched with elements of turn-based strategy.
- In the course of the game we find ourselves on the continent of Artemesia, which is ruled by the aging Emperor Ludivictus. When the main character, mercenary Eden from the village of Lonetta, falls victim to an aristocratic conspiracy and loses his support, he must join the rebels striving to overthrow the emperor and restore the old order on the continent.
- The gameplay in Lost Eidolons is based on two pillars. The first is turn-based battles. Victory is ensured not only by properly developed and diversified units, but also by their tactical deployment, taking into account the topography of the battlefield.
- As we progress, we unlock new sub-commanders and weapons; besides, we progress our character.
- The second pillar of fun are visits to the camp, where we control the hero directly, following the action from TPP view. At our base camp, we can recruit and train soldiers, build relationships with other characters, as well as make alliances and conduct other political activities. In addition, it is here that we accept new missions.
