Long-Forgotten Series Returns. Vindictus: Defying Fate Looks Like Dark Action RPG With Stunning Fights
South Korean studio Nexon announced its new action RPG Vindictus: Defying Fate. The story of this Celtic mythology-inspired game is set in the world known from Vindictus, an MMORPG released in 2010.
Do you still remember Vindictus? If so, we have very good news for you. In the near future, an action RPG set in the same universe as this good old MMORPG will hit the market. Vindictus: Defying Fate -- as its title suggests -- is a project from the same creators, ie. Nexon studio. South Korean developers have boasted online with the first spectacular trailer of the game.
Vindictus: Defying Fate will take us to a fantasy world inspired by Celtic mythology. Players will be treated to a dark and dangerous adventure, the main element of which will be "epic battles" with a wide range of different opponents. According to the information provided by the creators, they will require not only strength and agility from us, but also cunning.
However, before we have to look our enemies straight in the eye, we will have to create our own character, not only personalizing its appearance, but also choosing the appropriate equipment and fighting style that best suits our preferences.
The developers promise that the visuals of Vindictus: Defying Fate will be of the highest standard, and the "visually stunning 3D world will push the boundaries of what is possible in games." During the game, we will traverse both open lands and haunted dungeons. Every location was to be made with great attention to detail, in order to maximize the fun.
Although Vindictus: Defying Fate is being created with a single-player mode in mind, the developers plan to add multiplayer to the game in the future.
Unfortunately, we did not find out when we can expect the game's release. It is only known that the production will first hit PCs, and then consoles. Studio Nexon also announced pre-alpha tests of Vindictus: Defying Fate, which will take place from March 13 to 18.
