Riot Tinkers With Characters Again - Here's What LoL Patch 12.14 Promises
Patch 12.14 for League of Legends is approaching. Riot has made improvements to a total of sixteen characters and some in-game mechanics, including (once again) teleportation.
The first mentions of patch 12.14 for League of Legends are here. Again it contains a lot of buffs, although some heroes will also receive nerfs or changes. What's more, Riot is changing one of the summoner spells again.
Pantheon returns to the jungle
The change regarding this champion is minor. The damage that his Q skill inflicts on monsters has been increased from 70 to 120%. Currently, the enhancement can be tested by players on PBE (Public Beta Environment) servers.
The buff pleases junglers, although they are under no illusion that Pantheon will remain in this role for long. Anyway, time will tell how the meta will shape up after this patch.
Jarvan IV, who will also receive a boost in this patch, will be able to go into battle in the jungle with Pantheon. Additionally, Teemo, Alistar, LeBlanc and Varus will be buffed.
Sivir changed again
Patch 12.13, released on the official LoL servers last week, brought some changes for Sivir. Riot apparently overdid it and in update 12.14 the champion will get nerfs. In addition to her, five other characters will be weakened: Yuumi, Seraphine (nerf aimed at bottom lane), Gnar, Zeri and Renata.
Gangplank and Wukong targeted
A total of five champions will receive changes in patch 12.14. Currently, Wukong and Gangplank are being tested on PBE servers. The former has received changes concerning life regeneration, passive skill and R skill.
Gangplank, on the other hand, boasts a whole range of changes - from the basic number of HP to skills. The full list of improvements can be found in this tweet. The three other characters that will also undergo improvements are: Aatrox, Janna and Kayn (Rhaast).
Game mechanics
In addition to the changes to the characters, Riot has also decided to refine potions, runes and summoner spells. The biggest change is an increase in teleport cooldown, which will last one minute longer (from 360 seconds to 420).
Also found in LoL, dragons have not escaped the patch. Improved were not only the damage they inflict, but their regeneration or the buffs you get after killing them.
At the very end, it's worth noting that these will be the last sizable changes that Riot is going to implement before this year's World Championships. Patch 12.14 for LoL will be available for testing on July 27.
