Leak: Intel Core i9-10900K and 9900K Benchmark Comparison
Another leak surfaced on the web, presenting the benchmark of the latest Intel processor - i9-10900K. Once again, we can see how the chip performs compared against the i9-9900K.
There's been another leak on the we concerning the new Intel processor - i9-10900K. This time, a Geekbench 5 benchmark, running on ASRock Z490M Pro4 with 32GB of RAM, saw the light of day. Twitter user APISAK was the first to report the leak. According to his comparison, the latest Intel unit will be up to 30% more powerful than i9-9900K.
The much better performance of the i9-10900K (1437 points in single-core test and 11390 points in multi-core test) should not surprise anyone. The processor has been equipped with ten cores and operates at 3.7 GHz (5.1 GHz in boost mode). The 9900K has "only" eight cores, reaches 3.6 GHz (5 GHz in boost mode), and it achieved 9479 points in multi-core test. It is also worth mentioning that already in January there were leaks suggesting such a power difference (visible in the image below).
In early March, we also saw other i9-10900K benchmarks, the results of which suggest that Intel's processor will match the power of the competitive Ryzen 9 3900X. However, it is important to keep in mind that all these leaks, although seemingly credible, have not been officially confirmed.
