Lead Designer of Cyberpunk 2077 Leaves CDPR
Andrzej Zawadzki, one of the main designers of Cyberpunk 2077, has left CD Projekt RED, departing after nearly eight years of work in the team.
After eight years of work, Andrzej Zawadzki, one of the studio's main gameplay designers, has left CD Projekt RED. He announced the news in a post on Twitter, in which he mentioned that it was time for "a new adventure". He didn't, however, reveal whether he was planning anything specific.
Under normal circumstances, Zawadzki's departure would not cause much excitement. However, players are now looking at CD Projekt in the context of Cyberpunk 2077, the condition of which - to the frustration of many fans - still leaves a lot to be desired several months after release. The upcoming update is supposed to change that, but it's been delayed and the information about it provided so far hasn't reassured the players (quite the opposite, in fact). It's no surprise, then, that not only thanks and good luck wishes (also from friends from the studio) appeared under the post published by CD Projekt's former employee, but also a handful of questions (or "questions") about the game's condition etc. These, of course, remained unanswered.
