CD Projekt RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will get a Mac version.
- The game will be released in Ultimate Edition, containing both the base CP2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
- The premiere of the Mac version is planned for the beginning of 2025.
- This edition will be sold on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com.
- The devs promise that the game will utilize the capabilities of modern Macs, offering features such as ray tracing and surround audio.
More information, including the exact premiere date, will be revealed soon.
It must be admitted that Mac computer owners had to wait a long time for the native version of the game (unofficially, it was already launched on Macs last year). Cyberpunk 2077 debuted on PC in 2020. A small consolation for them may be the fact that they will immediately receive a fully developed version of this hit, something that PC users only got after many years and after the release of many updates.
It's worth mentioning that Cyberpunk 2077 isn't the only older, big game coming to Mac soon. On December 31st this year, Resident Evil 2 Remake will be released on the platform.
