Here's 11 Minutes of Disturbing Gameplay From Layers of Fear
Bloober Team together with Anshar Studios have released the first gameplay from Layers of Fear. Yhe 11-minute material shows off new mechanics and visual enhancements to the psychedelic horror game.
Some time ago, studio Bloober Team announced it will fight for the title of world leader in horror. However, in order to put this very ambitious plan into practice, the right tools are needed, in this case video games.
One of the productions that have a chance to make a significant contribution to the developers' international success is the upcoming Layers of Fear (recently without the second "s" in the title). The psychedelic horror developed in collaboration between Bloober Team and Anshar Studios, has just received its first gameplay.
The material looks really good. This is mainly thanks to the developers' use of Unreal Engine 5, using Lumen and ray tracing technologies.
Although we won't see any scary creatures in the video, the gameplay, with its lights and atmospheric soundtrack (I recommend watching with headphones on) make hair stand on end.
Recall that Layers of Fear is the third installment of the series launched in 2016. Interestingly, the set with the game includes the two previous parts of the series, as well as the Inheritance DLC for the first game and the brand new The Final Note DLC. The game will be released in June, this year and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
