2018's God of War was a huge success both artistically and commercially. One of the people who undoubtedly influenced such a good reception of the latest installment of the famous action game series by Santa Manica studio was Christopher Judge. The actor, thanks to his charisma, breathed life into the character of Kratos. Of course, he will reprise this role in the upcoming sequel, Ragnarok. However, it turns out that his involvement in the work on the game meant that we'll be able to enjoy it only next year, and not this one, as suggested by the first teaser.
A few hours ago Judge posted a couple of very heartfelt posts on Twitter. According to one of them, he revealed that the decision to slow down work on Ragnarok was made by the Santa Moica team due to his health issues.
Judge is extremely grateful for the way the Santa Monica team handled his problems. To quote him again:
As you can see, Judge has become quite attached to the creators of the God of War series. By the way, he also decided to reassure everyone concerned about the fact that the main person overseeing work on Ragnarok is not Cory Barlog, but Eric Williams.
For fans of the God of War series can only hope that Judge's great enthusiasm will be confirmed and next year they will play a truly outstanding production. Certainly there should be no lack of excitement in it, because it is to be the finale of Kratos' Nordic adventures.
