Konami Skips E3 2021; Several Projects Revealed

Konami won't be coming to E3 2021, with the Japanese company revealing that they don't have enough time to prepare material to showcase.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Konami will not appear at E3 2021;
  2. The reason given was that there was not enough time to prepare announcements of games in development.

Konami announced that it will not appear at this year's E3, which will take place from June 12-15, 2021. The statement was published on the official Twitter profile.

As the reason for its absence, the Japanese corporation cited lack of readiness to present games that are currently under development. Information about them is to be revealed across the next months of this year. Konami assured that it is working on several projects, asking fans for patience.

At this point we know that the projects under development, in addition to a new installment of the Pro Evolution Soccer series (which will use the Unreal Engine 4), are:

  1. Dance Dance Revolution V (PC);
  2. eBaseball Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2021: Grand Slam (NSW);
  3. Eden's Zero (platforms unknown);
  4. GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon (PC/NSW);
  5. Super Bomberman R Online (PC/NSW/PS4/XBO);
  6. Tokimeki Memorial: Girl's Side 4th Heart (NSW);
  7. Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale! (NSW).

As you can see, the Japanese company is not idle and, despite the lack of loud titles, is planning to release several games during the next few months.

Rumors, which have been circulating for a long time, indicate that we may also get a new installment of the Castlevania series, a remake of Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill, about which we have already written several times. Will any of the rumors turn out to be true? Perhaps the answer to this question will appear later this year.
