Leak Reveals Screenshots From Battlefield 6
Two images have hit the web, said to be the first screenshots from Battlefield 6. While not from an official source, the materials look very convincing.
Two screenshots which are probably from Battlefield 6, the latest installment of the popular FPS series from DICE, have appeared on the net. Of course, they should be approached with caution, although it needs to be admitted that they seem quite convincing.
The quality of the materials is poor, as they are most likely screenshots from video footage that has been upscaled. It is worth noting that one of the images shows a scene identical to the one described in the mid-April leak. It shows an island over which a Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey VTOL is flying, with a rocket launch in the distance.
Tom Henderson, who has made a big name for himself over the years when it comes to leaks about DICE's series, confirmed on his Twitter that both screenshots are real.
The images match earlier reports that Battlefield 6 will be set 10 years in the future. So we'll be using contemporary equipment during battles, but also gear currently in the design phase.
We still do not know when the publisher will officially reveal the game. The release is planned for this year, so we shouldn't be waiting long for the first official materials from the project. There's a good chance that Battlefield 6 will be one of the titles shown at the EA Play Live 2021 presentation on June 14, but we hope to see at least the first trailer before then.
