Parabole and Ravenscourt have shared the release date of Kona II: Brume. The game, which is headed for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch, will debut on October 18. In addition, the developers and publisher have released an atmospheric launch trailer of the item in question.
- Kona II: Brume is a continuation of the warmly received Kona, which debuted in 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and was released on other platforms in the following years. On Steam the first part of the series enjoys "very positive" reviews, in turn, on Metacritic the average rating from industry media is between 63-73/100 (depending on the platform).
- The plot of Kona II: Brume takes place in the northern regions of the Canadian province of Quebec in 1970. Players will once again take on the role of private detective Carl Faubert. This time the protagonist will find himself in the fictional town of Manastan, cut off from the world by a mysterious fog - the title brume. Trying to discover the source of this unusual phenomenon, Faubert will face various challenges and puzzles.
- An interesting move is the presence of an omniscient narrator, who comments on the events taking place during the gameplay. The plot is also developed with the help of dialogues and a variety of notes and items that the player can find during the exploration.
- In Kona II: Brume we will traverse a vast location (on foot or using a dog sled) and look for clues bringing us closer to solving the main puzzle. All collected information and data will be recorded in the hero's journal.
- The game also contains survival elements. Carl will face not only freezing conditions, but also predators.
