Final Fantasy 7 Remake Director Seems Confident About the Quality of Its Third Installment
The third chapter of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming. The jRPG's director shared a bold assertion with fans regarding the upcoming game.
The creators of remakes of cult games usually maintain a certain humility towards the title they are reworking. The more important it was for the fans and the industry, the bigger the respect. However, the director of Final Fantasy 7 Remake shared a bold assurance. According to VGC, during a show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Naoki Hamaguchi said:
The development team is hard at work as we speak, and we’re going to make the game something that even beats any expectations that you have towards the game. (...) I'm absolutely confident that the third game in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series will be one of the most loved, most popular games in the whole history of video games, once again.
He also said a bit about the story:
We've done all of the ground work now, all of the story which has been built up through Remake and Rebirth. And now we're in a great position so all the fans are wondering and expecting how the story's going to end, where it's going to go from here.
The producer, Yoshinori Kitasehe, has also supported what the director said:
We really have listened very carefully and taken on board all of the feedback on the first two games on the series. (...) all of those learnings are going to be reflected in the third game, so it'll be exactly what the fans are looking for.
If their promises come true, then who knows, maybe we'll actually get a blockbuster conclusion to the trilogy. The two parts of the remake are critically acclaimed. We don't yet know when the conclusion to the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy will be released, but it's clearly worth the wait.
