How to Get Ice in Sengoku Dynasty
Obtaining Ice in Sengoku Dynasty can be tricky. In this guide, we explain how to get it and make sure it doesn’t melt.
Obtaining certain resources in Sengoku Dynasty requires a complicated multi-step process and preparing several buildings, but fortunately, ice isn’t one of them. The difficult part is to get the timing right, and to construct storage as soon as possible. Here is how to get ice in Sengoku Dynasty.
How to Get Ice in Sengoku Dynasty
To obtain ice, you must prepare beforehand. Build drinking throughs in the summer and leave them to collect water during summer and autumn. Make sure there is water in them when the season changes to winter.
The water will freeze, and you will be able to get ice cubes from it. You can also obtain ice from merchants, such as the merchant in the Hot Springs.
However, if you don’t put it in the Ice Storage, it might melt. You unlock this building at Dynasty Legend Level 14. You will have to do projects and quests around the map to advance. Grinding to this milestone is time-consuming, as projects can only be completed when the seasons change. It means you likely won’t be able to build Ice Storage during your first winter. If you’re struggling to raise your Dynasty Legend Level, try to use your ice as soon as you harvest it for the time being.
Some players report ice in the storage still melting as seasons change. It is unknown at the moment if that is a bug, a feature in development or intended behaviour.
It is possible that the pacing of the late-game and the operation of the Ice Storage will be adjusted in future updates, so keep an eye out on the official social media and Discord of the developers.
