Sengoku Dynasty transports the player into the age of feudal Japan. Will you be able to experience it on consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch)? We have the answer from the developers themselves.
Sengoku Dynasty attracted gamers with it’s unique mix of sandbox, role-playing, city-builder, exploration and action-adventure and survival elements, as well as attractive graphics and the climate of historical Japan. The players will be tasked with building and managing villages in feudal Japan. While waiting for the Early Access release on Steam, many are wondering if the game will be available on consoles as well.
Sengoku Dynasty – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch) Release
On the official Discord of the publisher behind Sengoku Dynasty, Toplitz Productions, one of the developers answered a question about possible console ports. The official stance is “We shall see when the time comes”. It means that Toplitz is not ruling out porting the game. However, they likely cannot provide a timeframe for now for many reasons.
First of all, if and when versions of Sengoku Dynasty for PS4, PS4, Xbox and/or Switch are released will probably depend on how well the game sells on PC.
What is more, the title is currently in Early Access, which is supposed to last for about a year according to the information on the official Steam page. The amount of time needed to refine the game may vary, as developers state. Any ports of the Sengoku Dynasty are unlikely to come before that period is up and the game receives an official release.
Players interested in the game on console should follow the official Discord and check the website of the publisher and await further announcements.
