Mating Tent allows you to invite two Followers to forge a bond and create an egg. This action costs you a Sin, regardless of their acceptance. When they agree to the invitation, they graciously present you with the freshly crafted Egg. Each Egg allows you to choose up to two new traits – one inherited from the Followers and another randomly drawn perk.
But if you are very lucky, you can end up with a precious Golden Egg, that will grand you four traits. Eggs can be placed in the Hatchery for tending and hatching to gain new Followers. Regular Eggs take two days to hatch, while Golden Eggs take up to five days. Just make sure to tend your eggs daily, and don’t leave them outside the Hatchery for more than two days, as they can spoil quickly.
Cracking a regular Egg produces 1 Egg Yolk, while a Golden Egg generously provides 5 Egg Yolks. Egg Yolks can be used to craft a drink at the Drinkhouse or as a food in the Kitchen. The egg dish has a unique ability to make an old Follower young again. But, be aware that cracking an egg may result in a decrease in the Followers’ Faith.
Cult of the Lamb – How to Get Golden Egg
There’s no secret to it; the chance of obtaining a Golden Egg from the mating Followers is entirely random. The recently added Twitch Integration introduced some new features. According to some players, receiving a blessing from the watchers might potentially increase your chances of getting a Golden Egg. However, we haven’t had the opportunity to test it ourselves yet.
