How to get Flax in Aloft. It’s not too rare, but it can be tricky to spot
Having trouble finding Flax in Aloft? This guide will help you track down this easily missable resource.
Aloft, like many survival and exploration games, such as Valheim or Luma Island, gives you the chance to build your own base and gather a wide variety of resources. What makes this game stand out, though, is the ability to turn floating islands into skyships, letting you sail through the skies and discover new areas. While there are some cool mysteries to discover, a lot of players are more focused on finding flax – a crucial material used in all sorts of crafting recipes for progressing in the game.
Where to find Flax in Aloft
Flax is an important ingredient that can be found in Fallen Heights, the second biome in Aloft. To track it down, watch for small blue flowers nestled in the grass. They’re quite tiny and can be easy to miss if you're not paying close attention, so take your time and make sure to thoroughly search the area.
Once you've located the flax plants, you’ll need a scythe to harvest them. As you collect the flax, you'll also gather seeds. These seeds can then be planted back at your base, allowing you to grow a steady supply for all your future crafting needs.
Don’t be surprised if flax seems a bit harder to find compared to its availability in the demo version, some things have changed since then, including resources like paper. That said, remember that Aloft is still in early access, meaning the game is constantly evolving and might undergo even more changes before its full release.
